i've always wondered why "ITT tech" is "ITT tech" and not just "ITT". i mean, shouldn't one of those T's stand for tech?

in this thread or i think that could both apply, but what i really want to know is... what the hell does the ITT in ITT Tech stand for?

ITT Tech licenses the "ITT" name from ITT Corporation, which originates from the latter company's original name "International Telephone & Telegraph".

"La Brea" means "the Tar" in spanish, so when you say "the La Brea Tar Pits" you are technically saying "The The Tar Tar Pits".

Reminiscent of white people saying "Chai tea". Dudes, chai is the word for tea. You're having tea tea? No, it's either chai or tea, but never both together, or else you sound like a buffoon. Mad

Whenever I get a chai tea, I first have to go to the ATM machine and use my PIN number to get some money to pay for it, becuase I hate using an ink pen to sign my signature on my checks.
