Your ignorance is only exceeded by your immaturity.

Wtf does that have to do with the gold standard and the false capital credit created by the fed?

You really should listen to Dr. Paul, then you wouldn't ask such silly questions. The Fed controls the death panels by fiat currency. Ultimately the inflation tax on the people goes to JUNGLE.

Wow, considering we're almost at 2010 a graph ending in 2008 is super useful!

And we should only consider gold, rather than a total of prices like the CPI. Because we all buy and use gold so often.

Quote:
NEW YORK The price of gold surged to a fresh high Wednesday as the dollar fell to a 15-month low.

Gold futures for December delivery jumped to as high as $1,119.10 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange in morning trading, then slipped back to $1,114.20, up $11.70 from Tuesday's close.

Commodities including gold have been rising as the dollar has dropped. Gold's latest advance came as the dollar fell after Federal Reserve officials reiterated that the central bank will keep interest rates low for an extended period to support the economic recovery.

Low rates tend to weaken currencies including the dollar, encouraging investors to put their money in higher-yielding assets like gold. Investors also use gold as a hedge, not only against the falling dollar but also against inflation, which economists don't see as a threat right now.

This is the same behavior seen in the US economy since 1931, falling dollars lead to higher gold prices. Are you next going to claim the contrary nature of stocks and bonds is proof of Ron Paul's divinity?

Where's this crippling crisis that you've been claiming is imminent for a year now? Where's the hyperinflation? WHERE'S THE DOG PAPERED WITH WORTHLESS BENJAMINS?

You're seriously turning into one of those Stalinists that kept insisting everything was getting better regardless of actual events.
