the people who actually like dubstep tend to know not to bother with these threads. people have fun how they like having fun, shouldn't be bothering anybody. and the people doing the dubstep thing aren't out there hating on dnb, they are mostly embracing where they came from. dnb should get the bitter out its pants...

to be fair, ive heard way too much jungle dnb hating from dubstep heads.

its equally absurd in nature, usually just made up shit.

i do find it odd that you seem so threatened by it though.

Threatened, lol... How am I threatened by Dub Step because I choose not to like the genre or promote it for that matter? Are you stupid or something? That's pretty fuckin' ignorant. I just DON'T LIKE DUB STEP. Get over it! One thing I learned in all my years of living is that not everyone is gonna like me, or everything I do, and vice versa. I have no problem with people who don't like D&B, or Camo, or me, or whatever I play, blah, blah.. I just don't give a fuck. Once you can understand that about life, you can be a lot happier. For the record, you don't see us D&B heads defending our genre on Dub Step forums, etc.. Get outta here with all this Dub Step bullshit, enough already. Stop trying so hard to make everyone like the "genre". If you like it then that's great, stop trying to "force feed it to us".

Dub Step is a joke to me, I live for D&B.

Take it however you see, cuz that's the way it's gonna be.

exactly.

you've defined yourself by a particular genre of music, and therefore feel like you need to constantly 'defend' it. which is odd.

people like what they like. period.
there's not some huge conspiracy that's forcing people to like dubstep.

Yeah, whatever that means. Whatever you say bud, Christian's a hater right? Whatevs... I've always been a hater to many of you, but yet I'm still rocking and rollin'. Suckaz...

You know, it's the same shit on fuckin' DOA. Bunch of Dub Step kids always comparing, and promoting their shit on D&B boards like it's anything related to D&B. Two different genres (different tempos)/scenes, but yet they still try force feeding and defending Dub Step to D&B heads who obviously like D&B (or else they wouldn't be on a D&B BOARD), just for the sake of an argument. Why? Stop trying to make a D&B vs Dub Step war, because there is no comparison. Apples and oranges.

You can like your Dub Step, but when people tell you they don't like it, just let it be. Respect that, it's that simple.

Don't get mad, get glad.

Very Happy

Yeah right. Turn it all around, lol... I'm actually defending my right (and many others on this board who don't like Dub Step) to not like, support, or promote a certain genre of music.

Nobody is starting a war, I'm not threatened the least bit by Dub Step. If that was the case I'd promote it and have Dub Step dj's at Camouflage, not to mention have more heads roll through and make more money, but I don't. I leave it up to all you Dub Step lovers and business minded individuals to do whatever you want that tickles your fancy with this sound which is ultra hip and new to the masses. Because once again, IT IS NOT MY THING. Capiche?

End of story.

not necessarily.

when i used to go to njhc & nyhc shows in the early 90s, it was like 75% dudes. maybe more. i didn't care b/c i wasn't there to "pick up chicks". i was there to hear some crazy music & dance like a maniac.

i went to a cello recital a few weeks ago. amazing performance. and i think it would be silly if i said "man, that show sucked! there weren't any broads younger than 50 there!"
