Telluric is the best US label I have heard. I think they might be the only real Drum and Bass label in NYC. I have not seen anything from offshore recently. Like I said I knew of Telluric in 2006 while in London, since then they have developed a roster that is reminiscent of old Good Loooking. I also heard rumors that something is going on with Place42 and Bukem as far as a business venture. Its one of the hottest labels in the liquid scene and it is run out of London via NYC. I have heard that Place42 contracts all his artists now to make tunes for his label. The last 2 times I heard him play it was exclusive after exclusive dub. You can hate but you can't take away what he is doing for the music. |

the fact that they were able to bring PFM back is incredible. I like some warm communications stuff, a little left field. Telluric is very Good Looking.
PFM, J- Laze, Furney & tayla, Blame(Old), its as top shelf as it gets for this style & they are an American label, go figure.
Place, whats up with that Parphelia tune Sails is that getting a release? And whats up with this blade guy, Bukem has been sitting on all his tunes for 2 years . Please release your music and don't sit on it for your djing. |

Kmac,
I appreciate the words . I would keep alot of what you have said to yourself to be honest. Its not the type of town that you can just lay into people or things ect. As far as the label I will try to get as much music out as possible. Its tough dealing with distro in the Uk and not being there to ensure things are always handled properly. the parphelia tune will be getting a digital release and to answer your question about Blade he has done an LP for the label that should be out late summer.
I really appreciate the support but there is no best or worst just music. "Its all a matter of opinion." _________________
